Olea Cottage, a recently renovated two store dwelling, is situated on a fertile slope full of olive trees and enjoys uninterrupted sea and sunset views. The beautiful natural surroundings and the close proximity to some of the main tourist spots like Batsi and to most of the nicest sandy beaches, make Olea Cottage the perfect base from which to explore the island of Andros.
Constructed exclusively with local rock, the house is perfectly integrated in the Mediterranean landscape and covers a total area of 110 s.m. in two independent floors, suitable for up to eight guests.
The upper lever features a dining area and a country style kitchen, a spacious sitting area with a traditional fireplace, a double bed bedroom and a bathroom. The two built in couches in the sitting are designed to serve also as single beds. The dining area opens up to a stone tiled shaded veranda which is the perfect spot for rest and relaxation during all hours of the day or night.
The independent lower level is accessible through an exterior staircase and encompasses two comfortable double bed bedrooms and a bathroom. A lower level front porch constitutes the ideal setting for guests to marvel at the panoramic sea vistas.
Without a doubt, the coolest place of the house is the dining and barbeque area. An impressive eight seater dining table made of stone under the thick shade of perennial olive trees next to a stone-built BBQ and oven will become the focal point of your holidays. Accompanied by the mesmerizing smells of nature and the taste of Ouzo you can dine al fresco, enjoying the panoramic sea views.

Nous avons passé un fantastique séjour avec nos amis et nos enfants. La maison est typique, très jolie et avec toutes les commodités.La vue sur la mer est exceptionnelle et tous les soirs nous avons admiré le coucher du soleil.Le matin est aussi un ravissement. La très jolie plage en contrebas (avec une taverne) est un plus.L’emplacement de la maison est très central pour rayonner dans l’île d’Andros.Nous recommandons fortement.
A wonderful stay in all respects
A wonderful stay in all respects. The house was well equipped and maintained. The location was great: away from everything and everyone, so it was perfectly peaceful and with an amazing, 180 degree, unobstructed view onto the sea, but also just a 10 minute drive to beautiful Batsi where you find everything you need. The customer service was perfect, with a warm welcome and immediate attention to a couple of questions that came up (small things like, “where do I find the extra fan?”). No negatives whatsoever.

Olea Cottage is absolutely lovely
Olea Cottage is absolutely lovely. Set in peaceful grounds in an upmarket neighbourhood and not overlooked. The cottage itself is perfect; rustic as others have said, but furnished with style and flair. More spacious than we had expected and with plenty of shaded and sunny outside space…take your pick! Close to Mpatsi, but far enough away to fully benefit from those lovely surroundings, and with sublime sea views, we spent more time at the cottage than we expected to, especially in the evenings. The island is very beautiful, we hiked in the mornings, spent the afternoons swimming off the many lovely beaches and explored the gorgeous villages of Menites, Apoika and Stenies, along with old capital of Chora. Alfredos communicated perfectly from the start and ensured our arrival was smooth, we found the cottage easily. We were meet by Sophia and Perry who took us around, showed us how everything worked, gave us some great recommendations for the island and were on hand for anything else

Wir haben unsere Ferien in Village von Alfredos sehr genossen. Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage und wunderschöne Aussicht. Es ist auch sehr zentral auf der Insel gelegen, sodass man überall gut ankommt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

We really enjoyed staying there
We really enjoyed staying there, the house is very nice and cozy, stylish and well equipped. The location is a plus on a hill but just some minutes away from a nice and quite beach and from the village. The view on the sea is amazing, we will never forget the stars we could see every night from there. The communication was always very easy and the owner is helpful and kind. We will definetly go back!

Our stay at Olea cottage was nothing but magical; the view of the sea, the chirping cicadas, the rush of the wind in the olive trees and the glorious sunset and starry skies. As we were just the two of us, we only used the top floor of the cottage, providing everything we needed. To wake up every morning with such a gorgeous view of the sea is just so relaxing and serene. You are surrounded by nature and peace. The owner recommended some very nice restaurants and places to visit and was a joy to talk to and not invasive at all. Tip: Make sure to check out the magazines on the coffee table as they have loads of brilliant inside information on Andros. We hope to return soon to Andros and Olea cottage as it has captured our hearts.
