If you want to experience lush Mediterranean environs coupled with breathtaking sunset views, then Olive tree Villa is your kind of place. Situated in the area of Alikandros, a 10 minute-drive from the port of Batsi, it was recently built in accordance with the precepts of the local architecture but also blends successfully new design trends. Olive tree Villa can accommodate up to eight guests, in two totally independent housing units.
The main villa covers a total area of 150 s.m. in one level and is suitable for 4 guests. It encompasses an open plan kitchen, a spacious living area with a fireplace and a dining table, two bedrooms and two brightly coloured bathrooms. All doors open to a wide veranda, where much of the summer-life takes place. A stone kiosk protects the big wooden outdoor table and the built-in BBQ from the desires of the north wind called “ Meltemi”. Whether starting your day with a typical Greek breakfast or ending it with a hearty BBQ, the veranda will become the epicenter of your summer days and the point of departure for your daily trips around the isle.
A fully furnished studio with an independent entrance, situated ten or so exterior steps under the main unit offers complete privacy. At a bit over 60 square meters and able to accommodate 4 guests, it is in essence a separate petit villa which consists of a comfortable sitting area, a kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. The sitting area, with a double futon next to fireplace, may serve as the second bedroom. The stone tiled veranda with the built-in stone table is the ideal place to end the day, sipping local wine while watching the sun disappear into the deep blue of the Aegean.
Undoubtedly, what makes this house unique is its exterior sitting areas and its lush Mediterranean garden. Plenty of olive trees, a couple of bougainvilleas and a plethora of indigenous plants surround the houses and the verandas, in an extraordinary estate of 4.000 s.m.
Digital photography hardly captures the amazing beauty of the Cycladic land, but hopefully fascinates the imagination as to what lies ahead.

We had a wonderful stay at the Olive Tree House. The property has some of the best views on the island, the house and guest house were great, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Kostas, the owner met us at the property and was a delight to deal with. We cannot recommend it more and would love to come back!

HeavenNatural beauty: on the top of a hill, with a wide view of the sea and the islands, looking out to the mainland at sunset… and at the foot of a hill, a beautiful sandy beach, with calm water full of fish… Human made beauty: a stunning contemporary house, in the traditional style, but with modern kitchen appliances—- Convenience: the owner’s parents were close and so kind, but never intrusive.

The house is stunning
The house is stunning, very peaceful and quiet. Location is perfect, you can easily reach both sides of the island. Amazing views and sunsets. Costas welcomed us and has been really kind and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend the house and would love to be back with my family again next year!
The house has a lot of open spaces and is well equipped and furnished.
We were 3 adults and 2 children of age 10 and 12 and stayed at the Olive Tree House. We enjoyed the time spent in the morning and evening at the house, the view is amazing and the quietness very relaxing. The house has a lot of open spaces and is well equipped and furnished.

My family and I have had a wonderful time staying at Olive Tree House and loved the location on the west side of Andros with amazing views and sunsets from the villa. The extra bonus was Costas who met us and made us feel very welcome. We would love to think we will return one day and highly recommend staying at this lovely location.

Nous avons adoré ces 8 jours passés dans la Olive tree house. La maison est très agréable. Bien située. Très calme. La vue est superbe et l'immense espace extérieur sans aucun vis à vis permet une vie en plein air à tout moment de la journée, à l'abris du vent et du soleil. Un petit coin de paradis. Accueil précis et charmant. L'ile d'Andros est magnifique, les nombreux sentiers de randonnées très bien entretenus et parfaitement balisés sont superbes. Les plages , les tavernes ainsi que l'accueil simple et sincère des Grecs sur l' Ile d'Andros nous ont totalement conquis. Vivement notre prochain séjour sur l'ile d'Andros et de toute évidence, à la Olive tree house !
The house is beautiful
The house is beautiful, with a stunning view from the terrace. The place is very peaceful and conveniently located (20 min from Gavrio, 5-10 min from Batsi and from the main western coast beaches). The house is fully equipped and the wifi is good. We enjoyed our time in the house and in particular the big outdoor table. There is no AC in the guesthouse, but when the Meltemi blows you do not need it... Costas, who welcomed us at our arrival and greeted when we left, has been very kind and helpful. At the Olive Tree House you really feel at home away from home.

The Olive Tree House is absolutely stunning and one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating, the house is very stylish and the view is second to none! I would recommend this place a hundred times over and will definitely be visiting again next year
